An OpenShare Driver is a pre-built OIE channel bundle for a specific medical device or EHR system. Integration engineers import the channel bundle into OpenShare Console, apply their environment’s endpoint URLs and firewall exceptions, and the data flow is live, no manual channel authoring required.

A complete OIE channel definition: source connector, destination connector, and all transformer logic for the target device or system.

Documented HL7v2 message types, FHIR resource mappings, and DICOM transfer syntaxes, tested against the device’s implementation guide.

The exact TCP/UDP rules the integration needs, ports, directions, protocols, so your network team opens only what’s required.

Every OpenShare Driver is free: prepackaged channel bundles, built and tested to integrate well with common devices. Import one into your OIE instance via OpenShare Console: no license key, no per-device fee, no subscription. The searchable driver catalog (browse drivers for pupillometers, glucose meters, and other common devices and import them straight from the Console) is coming soon.
